- AUSTIN -- Austin police have released the statistics for the recent holiday weekend "No Refusal" initiative. Police said Thursday that they arrested 38 people for DWI between 9 p.m. and 5 p.m. New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. - Former APD officer Leonardo Quintana was found not guilty Wednesday on two criminal charges stemming from a reported domestic violence incident in October of 2009. His failure to report that incident to APD led to his termination from the department.
